Our busiest times for this service are in spring, after the snow has melted and in autumn, after the leaves have fallen. In most cases, a cleanup will take less than a day. We will remove leaves, branches, and any trash that’s been hidden in the mix, leaving your property neat and pleasing to the eye.

At this time, we won’t be offering residential routine mowing services. If you only need your lawn mowed here and there, we would be happy to do that for you. For example, maybe you are gone on a vacation and need it covered… we got your back!

Thatch is the tightly intertwined layer of dead and living grass sitting right above the soil. About a half inch of thatch is normal but once it starts to exceed that, you may want to consider getting it dethatched. This is done by using either a pull behind, walk behind, or even handheld dethacher. Stiff metal bristles dig down into the thach layer and beak up some of the intertwined grasses. Breaking up this layer allows for new growth!

Aeration is the process of puncturing the soil with small holes (about the width of a penny and 2-3" deep) allowing more water, and nutrients to get down to the roots of your grass. This may be needed if your yard is compacted by heavy foot traffic or even machinery. Aerating is recommended once every one to two years.
