Water Features

“Water features are undeniably, one of the most eye-catching additions to a landscape. I was inspired to learn more about them. I came across Aquascape and had the realization that I could build and install custom water features for my clients. Aquascape is one of the leading water feature manufacturers and installers in the world. They invented and patented an ‘ecosystem approach to designing, building, and maintaining water features that relies on a natural balance of circulation, filtration, plants, fish, and rocks and gravel to ensure sustainability.’ I attended and graduated from Aquascape University, where I learned the ins and outs of pond and water fall construction and maintenance. I am confident in their systems and am proud to utilize their products to provide my clients water feature services.”

FOUNTAINS, PONDS, + MORE

A UNIQUE ADDITION TO YOUR LANDSCAPE

A properly installed pond is a beautiful element to any landscape. Imagine getting home after a busy day and taking a seat in front of your own pond. You’re soothed by the sound of flowing water. The worries of the day slip your mind as you gaze upon your fish and aquatic plants, or maybe watch the birds bathe in the shallow pockets of water. The sky is the limit when designing your next pond, from an 8’ to an acre wide feature.

Ponds

Pondless Waterfalls

A pondless waterfall is exactly what it sounds like. You get a lot of the great features that a pond has, like the sound of flowing water, stunning visuals of the water crashing off the rocks, aquatic plants placed strategically along the stream. But there is no pond basin, so it takes up less space, and it requires less maintenance!

Decorative fountains come in various sizes and shapes. They take up very little space but still give off amazing sounds and visuals. This is the perfect fit for minimalist and modern aesthetic homes. Plus, the birds and butterflies will also love it!

Decorative Fountains

In most cases, fire and water aren’t a great fit. But if you want an eye-catching talking point, this just might be the perfect fit. Combining a decretive fountain and a gas fireplace gives you the stunning sound of crashing water, with the visually appeal of flickering fire.

In the foreground, there are two large decorative water bowls surrounded by colorful flowers and brown mulch. The area is paved with stone tiles, and the lush green lawn extends to a fenced garden.

If you have lived in the valley for any amount of time, I’m sure you’ve heard about the concerns around water conservation. And I’m also sure that you’ve heard of or seen traditional rainwater harvesting systems. Usually, that consists of a large barrel that sits under your downspout and holds a couple hundred gallons of stagnant water. Well, we have a better solution to offer. Using Aquascape’s filtration and storage system, we can construct a filtered underground catch basin. Stagnant water is a prime habitat for bacteria. To avoid that, we would install a small decorative fountain to tie into your landscape that pulls water from the bottom of your underground catch basin. This leaves you with cool, filtered water that can be used to water your lawn, wash your car, or even top off your pool or pond!

Passion Runs Deep

“I have always had a passion for water. We didn’t have a pond growing up, but as a kid, we used to flood our sandbox with the garden hose. We would make streams and push our toy cars through it. My parents weren’t a big fan of “wasting” all that water as you can imagine! As I got older, I spent a lot of time at the rivers and lakes fishing, looking for cool rocks, and just enjoying all the nature that water attracts and holds. This passion has stuck with me since and it’s an awesome feeling being able to create a similar ecosystem from scratch.”
